Oh man, only two!? You know that’s impossible, right?? (I suppose you maybe want evidence intact?)
Well, the first reason that comes to mind, is that they’re often gravitated towards each other in settings that permit their separation. And whether it’s brushing shoulders, casting sideways glances, or blatantly staring at each other they manage to mind the other’s presence in some way or form. It’s my theory that they’re each other’s comfort objects. Especially in proximity they give an air of domesticity and reliance on the other, which is pretty relevant if I do say so myself, it’s not something you see between mere acquaintances or even some of the closest of friendships. But since most of this stuff takes place in front of cameras, it’s very fleeting and very subtle so, no wonder it’s often looked over, right? (EX: + + + + + +)
I guess the other top reason that I can think of readily, is Taemin’s unmistakable crush on Key in the earlier days, his very blatant staring and his very obvious attempts at flattering said cutie, and then in return Key’s shy reciprocity that most people mistake as awkward, gentle rejection (Honestly, if you want to see Key rejecting someone just watch every JongKey video ever). Keep in mind this is when the “Umma and Son” thing was obviously formulated to disguise their blooming love ahem. But yeah, I don’t even have to explain this one in detail, just watch anything from SHINee’s dark-haired days and you’ll see what I mean. Proof that it’s been around since the beginning really, and honestly those little moments vastly outweigh any other interactions to me, it always appears ten times more sincere than other inner-SHINee relationships. As I’ve said, there’s much more. You could convince yourself if you really observed them closely, because once you see it I promise you’ll never be able to take your eyes off of them. Y.Y
I think it gives a lot visually, and in it’s sincerity- which is all anyone outside can rely on.
(And I guess you wanted a drawn response but I’d rather type this out, sorry.)
